Is the UK housing market slowing down
09 Dec 2019
In the quarter to October 2019, as per Nationwide, the prices fell in London and south-east by 1.7%, whereas, the price in other parts of the country continues to rise, although, at a slower pace, due to political turmoil and unpredictability. In Northern Ireland, the prices gained by 3.4% as compared to last year. Homeowners seek to finalize deals before Brexit as they expect the prices to increase after the deal. Currently, there is hesitation from the sellers who are unclear about the political and legal factors influencing the transactions.
