They handle the paperwork, monitor the buyers and sellers, keep liaison with the solicitor, negotiate deals and ensure the transactions are completed properly. They may recommend which type of property one can buy and also suggest how to arrange for the funds. They can be contacted to find out about surveys, legalities and other types of advice. They may charge a fee in the range of 0.75% to 3.5% of the total selling price.
